Having the mission to support Quebec agri-food companies in their export efforts outside Quebec, Group Export benefits from a collective subsidy agreement with the provincial government (ministère de l’Alimentation, des Pêcheries et de l’Agriculture du Québec) and the federal government (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada).

These agreements enable Group Export to offer a program that brings together several companies under the same activity. The selection of activities and trade shows throughout the year is based on a number of criteria, including member interest and the sector’s export potential.

Collective Programs : Simple as 1, 2, 3

Within the framework of the collective programs, access to subsidies is fairly straightforward, as they have already been applied to the activities offered. In fact, when you register for an activity in the collective programs, subsidies have already been applied to the participation fee and, depending on the activity, additional subsidies are available.

Financial support for the collective programs can include the following elements:

  • turnkey booths in pavilions overseen by the Group Export – The Group Export applies subsidies directly to the booth’s sale price
  • additional fixtures and fittings
  • sample shipping costs
  • merchandise handling costs
  • travel and accommodation expenses, etc.

A Strong Collective International Brand

Participating companies can benefit from the group’s attention-grabbing power by joining the pavilions headed by the Group Export, displayed under the Canada or Quebec brand, while retaining their own brand image in their own booth.

What’s more, participating companies enjoy logistical support, that is often turnkey, including merchandise consolidation, allowing them to concentrate on their business development.

Claim Requirements

To benefit from the subsidies associated with the Collective Program, companies must submit a complete activity report provided by the Group Export, following the activity.

When submitting the activity report, the company must provide supporting documents, including proof of accommodation and transportation, within 60 days.
