OBJECTIVES: At the end of this training, participants will be able to identify the elements that must appear on the labels of prepackaged fruits and vegetables in Canada.

TRAINERS

Solange Adechian, Labelling and Regulation Director, Groupe Export Agri-Food

Solange Adechian holds a Ph.D. in Biology, Nutrition, and Health. She has over twenty years of experience in regulatory affairs and R&D in the agri-food sector. She has also worked as a consultant for various clients. Today, she brings her expertise to exporting agri-food companies by leading the Labeling and Regulatory Affairs Department at the Groupe Export Agri-Food.

Khawla Boughanmi, Labelling and Regulation Advisor, Groupe Export Agri-Food

Khawla Boughanmi holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in quality management. She has over 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs. In France, she gained experience working for a consulting company as well as a company specializing in cosmetics. In Quebec, she first worked as a regulatory affairs assistant at Essences & Fragrances Bell, then as a regulatory affairs specialist at Les Plats du Chef, and finally as a labeling and regulatory specialist at Trans-Herbe. She is now a labeling and regulatory advisor at the Groupe Export Agri-Food.
