During her visit to Montréal on Friday, October 30, Ms. Rifai will present an overview of the Peruvian market, including its business opportunities and the current needs of buyers and importers in the region.

The event will also provide participating companies with the opportunity to take part in one-on-one meetings with Ms. Rifai to present their products and discuss their potential in the Peruvian market. Ms. Rifai is currently looking to identify Québec suppliers for Supermercados Peruanos S.A., a major Peruvian buyer.

The product categories of interest include sauces and condiments, healthy snacks, confectionery, granola, pasta, tortillas, as well as other agri-food products.

Jo-Hanna Rifai is a Trade Commissioner with Global Affairs Canada, responsible for the agri-food sector in Lima, Peru. As part of her mandate, she supports Canadian companies in their international business development efforts, including by facilitating connections with local buyers and business partners. She helps identify new business opportunities and supports access to international markets for Canadian agri-food products.
