From 2018 to 2022, the size of the EU seafood market grew at a CAGR of 4.6%, from US$38,946.9 million to US$46,690.9 million. Among the selected countries, the UK posted the highest seafood CAGR (7.6%), followed by France (6.2%) and Norway (6.6%).
Overall, the data show a positive trend for the seafood market in the EU and selected countries. For the most part, forecast growth rates remain stable. The UK is expected to have the highest growth rate among the selected countries, while Germany is expected to have the lowest.
The Canadian provinces have recorded a steady increase in seafood exports to European markets from 2018 to 2022.
