Transportation & logistics | Distribution Network Optimization and Modeling
Canada
Date and hour
May 29, 2024 - 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM
***Please note that this training will be conducted in French***
In a constantly evolving world where the complexity of supply chains continues to grow, the need to adopt innovative approaches to their management has become paramount. Network modeling enables the creation of a digital twin of the supply chain, providing the opportunity to analyze various scenarios of envisaged changes.
This approach allows us to optimize the trade-off between costs and the level of service, assess inventory requirements, review warehouse positioning, and take into account environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts. In addition, it enables us to conduct simulations to evaluate the impact of potential disruptions on the supply chain. All these facets contribute to shaping a more agile and resilient supply chain.
This training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to fully exploit the potential of network modeling, in order to lead their organizations towards more efficient, sustainable, and competitive supply chain management.
TOPICS COVERED DURING THE TRAINING:
- Introduction to network modeling in supply chain management
- Creating a digital twin of the supply chain
-
Scenario analysis and optimization
-
Integration of ESG criteria in the decision-making process
-
Disruption management and resilience building
