Founded in 1974, this family owned business specialized in the production of salted and dried cod until 1993. Thereafter, the company diversifies its activity with the production of herring roe (eggs for the Japanese market). Since the late 2000s, Poisson Sale Gaspesien has launched itself into the lobster processing business, offering a complete line of frozen lobster products. The company now exports to USA, Europe, Caribean and Asia.
